Modern light and monument go together
The listed Pankow Family Court in Berlin is an impressive building dating from the Art Nouveau period of 1902-1906. loblicht realised a spacious and modern lighting concept for the historic courtroom in particular: a custom-made pendant luminaire (approx. 8 m x 4 m) that blends harmoniously into the room architecture. The filigree multipro Line profile system, just 45 mm wide and made from sustainably produced aluminium, ensures optimum lighting conditions. The rounded corners echo the design language of the chandeliers, while the finely textured surface in concrete grey creates a sophisticated look.
Numerous suspended ring luminaires and linear pendant profiles mitred around corners are installed in the offices and corridors.
With this project, we show how innovative lighting technology and heritage protection can form a perfect symbiosis – for a harmonious, functional and aesthetic lighting solution.
