Innovative lighting concepts in schools, Deggendorf

An equally unusual lighting concept was to be found for the architecturally attractive new building I-Part 1 of the vocational school in Deggendorf. So we suspended the multipro LINE 45 lighting system in luminous rings above the open, gallery-like air spaces.

Our versatile pendant luminaires, which provide direct and indirect light in different sizes and formations, were precisely adapted to the respective ceiling constructions – for the illumination of the assembly hall, canteen, corridors and stairwells. The result impressively demonstrates how important precise planning and perfect realisation are to us for every project, especially in difficult conditions.

Challenges as highlights:

• Dynamic installation: realisation under challenging installation conditions
• Design requirement: Use of different diameters of rings or semicircles that create an interplay of rhythm and variable light constellations
• Atmospheric accents: Over 30 luminaire units with microprismatic covers for glare-free light create a warm, inviting atmosphere, while the coloured stairwells are given an architecturally accentuated, exciting counterpart by linear light profiles.
